  • POLICIES

How many units/syringes will I need?

The amount of product needed varies from person to person, depending on your facial anatomy, muscle strength, and aesthetic preferences. You will be able to discuss this at length with your provider at the time of your consultation.

When will I see results from Botox or Dysport?

Most people see initial results within 7-10 days. We recommend waiting at least 2 weeks before booking a touch-up if needed.

How long does bruising/swelling last?

Bruising and swelling depends on skin type and area of injection, but normally bruising and swelling can last anywhere from 3-7 days.

What can I do to reduce bruising?

There are a few things you can do. We suggest you don't take any blood thinners (like Ibuprofen and Aspirin) for 10 days prior to your appointment. Alcohol and caffeine are also blood thinners, so if you are worried about bruising try to refrain from consuming either of those for three days prior to your treatment. There are also some natural remedies shown to help reduce bruising like arnica and bromelain, which you can find at most health food stores. Take these for 2 days before and after treatment.

What kind of filler should I get?

The type of filler you need depends on which area you would like injected and the desired effect. You will be able to discuss a customized plan with your provider at the time of your consultation.

How do different treatments interact with each other (ie. a laser treatment and injectables at the same time)?

You can often book lasers and injectables on the same day with a few exceptions. When booking your appointment please let your Client Coordinator know which treatments you’d like so that they can book accordingly.

How long do injections last?

Wrinkle Relaxers generally last up to three to four months, whereas Dermal Fillers can last anywhere from six months to 18 months. However, this varies from person to person and depends on the area that is injected.

Can I receive a treatment if I am pregnant?

Some treatments, such as Clear + Brilliant, Facile Laser, microneedling, and PRP,  can be performed during pregnancy (without numbing cream). However, we do not suggest scheduling any treatments or procedures without consulting your OB-GYN first.

Can I receive a treatment if I am breastfeeding?

Similar to pregnant patients, we do not suggest scheduling any treatments or procedures while breastfeeding without consulting your OB-GYN first.

What is the typical social downtime after a procedure?

We have treatments with no social downtime (which makes them perfect to do before a special event). Others can result in anywhere from 3-5 days of social downtime. For more information on each procedure, please visit Treatments.

What is the difference between Microinfusion and Microneedling?

Microinfusion is the process of stamping a combination of products such as fillers, wrinkle relaxers, skin brighteners, and/or vitamins into your skin, which improves your overall skin quality. Your provider will customize the combination of products based on your skin's needs.

Microneedling is a procedure in which we create micro injuries in the skin to boost collagen production, assist cell turnover, and allow potent products to penetrate deeper into your skin. This results in glowing, smooth, and firm skin, and can reduce acne scars and wrinkles.

Can I combine laser treatments?

Definitely! You can use a laser alone or in combination with our other treatments, such as peels, to improve skin discoloration, texture and to rejuvenate your face, neck, and chest.

How long does an appointment take?

As a general rule of thumb, we say to plan for 1 hour; however, this all depends on what treatment you are doing and if you are a first-timer or a Facile regular. We will always do our best if you need to be out of your appointment at a certain time. Just let us know at the beginning of your appointment :)

What if I have acne or sudden breakouts?

We're here to help! We offer many different options to treat acne, such as peels, prescriptions, extractions, and customized comprehensive treatment plans. We also offer cryofacials, light therapy, and lasers to heal and prevent breakouts. Cortisone shots are also a great quick fix!

We're included in PETA's Beauty Without Bunnies program to certify our commitment to cruelty-free beauty.
